Sounds frustrating. If the game only shows the MU Helper and doesn't fully launch, it could be a client issue rather than your firewall try running the game as administrator and make sure your graphics drivers and DirectX are updated. Also, a clean reinstall of the game client often fixes missing or stuck launch files.
