I'm planning a trip. Might need to bring a musical instrument with me. Some instruments are delicate or too big for cabin baggage so I want to know what transportation options are available before I book my flight.
While looking into LOT Polish Airlines Customer Service I found that smaller instruments can go in the cabin if they meet the airlines size and weight limits. Bigger instruments might have to go as checked baggage. In some cases require an extra seat based on their size and weight.
One thing I'll do is check if my instrument fits safely in the compartment or under the seat. I'll also look into protective packaging especially if the instrument has to go in the hold.
