Post was aimed for the beta client, not mobile
It is most definitely not just an impression on the PC version, there is some appearance and disappearance delay, which will often render in players once they are literally on top of you, and Dark Evolution / Chicken Escape events are pointless to attempt, the mobs will just vanish towards the end of the render, good luck finding which way it went, by then the other ones will have vanished
