Modalert 200mg is sometimes prescribed by psychiatrists to treat mental health disorders that cause excessive daytime fatigue or drowsiness. Off-label, modafinil is occasionally used to treat depression, ADHD, or bipolar disorder, especially when fatigue or cognitive sluggishness is an issue. However, it is primarily used to treat sleep disorders like narcolepsy. Modalert 200 may help other therapies, such as therapy or antidepressants, by improving alertness, focus, and mental vigor. It is not appropriate for everyone, however, and because of possible adverse effects and drug interactions, it needs to be administered with caution.
