About the Wizard character point and skill distribution. - parad0ox - 04-05-2025

Hello,

I have been away from the game for a while (10 years Smile) I decided to start again but many things have changed in the game so first I decided to reach the max reset of my character and now I am about to reset to 199, what I want to ask is how should I distribute the points and master skills of my Wizard character, I searched for resources about this but I couldn't find any.

Another thing I'm wondering is how do I reset my points if I want to change them after reaching 200 resets?

I know the questions are very amateurish, sorry about that Smile

Hey there!

I've been a MU player for over 10+ years as well, but I am fairly new in MEGAMU (1 month), but I'll try and help as much as I can.

For points and Master skills distribution - this has always been a hot topic in MU and it boils down to what you want your Character to accomplish; Is he gonna be pure PVP, is he gonna be PVM, will he serve some sort of purpose in a Guild etc.? What I am trying to say is that those things are something a Player must figure out for himself, based on what he wants his Character to actually be and what kind of gear the Character has available, so in reality there is no right or wrong answer as far as build goes.

As for resetting your stats once you reach rr200 - I have seen the option in the website within my profile that I can redistribute the points as long as I am a VIP. Being VIP costs 300 MCoins for 7 days of normal VIP, upwards to 1200 MCoins for 30 days of MEGA VIP. Based on research, I have not managed to find another way of stat redistribution other than taking advantage of being VIP (which selling a bundle of 100 Bless/Souls can easily get you the MCoins needed).

Hope I managed to help!

Cheers

Thank you for your feedback and interest, I am considering the character as a pvm wizard character, I do not believe that he will perform very well in pvp or a hybrid model can be made, I will try the vip option for resetting thank you.

Also, I'm having a hard time with the 4th class quest. The time is not enough to kill enough monsters. Do you have any advice for this?

Hello!

Depending on how many resets and gear you have - yes, the time is not enough.

The 4th Class quest is meant to be passed solo when you are quite strong - my 105 RR lvl 800 SM can not pass it alone.

However, you can always search for a stronger Player using Chat to help you through it, but do take note that the 4th Class quest is really not needed until you have reached end game.

Cheers!

I'm currently at level 200 and level 800, and I have no idea what to do

Have you unlocked any of the Energy Mastery branches that increase Wizardry Damage, Critical DMG, or Skill DMG?

The skill distribution is as follows, I hope I did it right

Welcome back! Games change so much over time, it's understandable to feel lost. Unfortunately, I haven't played that particular one. For a bit of a fun distraction while you research, have you ever tried a browser game like Drift Hunters? It's simple but surprisingly addictive. As for your point allocation, maybe try asking in a dedicated forum for that game; experienced players there will likely have optimized builds to share. Good luck with your wizard!
